Coach of the Flying Eagles, Manu Garba admits his team struggled with form in the first half and did not get out of the block quick enough allowing the Black Satellites mount pressure on the defense but concludes his players responded well and are ready for the final.
The Flying Eagles defense held their lines and were disciplined enough to keep their first clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Sellas Tetteh’s men.
He also credited his players as the best team on the day and could have scored more.
Manu Garba said: ” It was a keenly contested game. My boys did not take off early. The best team won. We created a lot of chances and could have scored more than two.
” Our objective is to be champions and whether it’s Mali or Senegal, we are ready for them,” the Flying Eagles Coach bragged.
