Based on thorough investigative journalism, here is unveiling Mrs. Bolanle Patience Ambode:
Mrs. Ambode was born on 15th February 1964. She is from Epe LGA of Lagos State. She attended St. Theresa College, Ibadan, for her secondary school and Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, where she graduated in Physics/Mathe-matics for her first degree in 1989 and later Masters degree in Public Administration in 1994.
She has attended several short courses including some in Bakery Technology in Israel. She has garnered more knowledge and skills by attending numerous conferences and other international trainings.
With work experience spanning over 10 years, she has worked in various sectors of the economy including banking, finance and consulting. She was a former staff of the defunct People’s Bank of Nigeria, Instant Finance Nigeria Limited and Aquagem Consulting Limited.
Mrs. Ambode worked in many places before she started her bakery business.
She started as a staffer of defunct People’s Bank of Nigeria before she left to join Instant Finance Nigeria Limited and later Aguagem Consulting.
She currently runs Rehoboth Chops and Confectioneries Limited as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. The Rehoboth bread is said to be very popular among Lagosians.
She is the Vice President of Alfred Debbie Opal Foundation (ADOF).
A simple, humble and unassuming achiever, Bola is happily married.
She met her husband, Akinwunmi Ambode during her university days at Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos. The husband, was then working in Ojo Local Government Council, Ojo. They got married in 1991 and the marriage is blessed with twins – a boy and a girl.
